The new equipment that has come out now is so sensitive its brilliant for what we do...The New Digital Dictaphones are amazing, but be careful of the make...I know people say ive got a briliiant dictaphone...but it isnt any good if it not PC compatible...as you have'nt got any where to store brilliant EVP's or the proof to show to people that are seriously interested.
and doesnt record low level noise...we had an experience while a go when the recorded sound was so muffled it was a waste of time buying it, this was promptly returned and brought a fantastic dictaphone....
Video Cameras are the same the new hard drive versions are out of this world, you dont have to listen to the sound of the motor or see tape folds on the footage...Also the EVP's are there to hear now as before you might hear a whisper and not understand or totally miss through the noise of the Video Camera.

Thank goodness for technology.

Im in the middle of conversing with a very well know brand to see if we can get some sponsorship...(This ISN'T Sony)... they are in dicussion with there head office as we speak...i'll let you know the out come.... Keep your fingers crossed this could help the team immensly....

Well as i've said before the best equipment you can ever have is yourself and for some people they are more sensitive to spirit than others. :D :D It would be nice to do an investigation with all the equipment still and the team could use their own senses for a change. We would still have all the equipment on but I used to love it when John picked up names :D :D :D and we heared so much more before, people are always stuck behind a video now days. I think most the team have forgotten about how good some of them are.

Its not always about catching paranormal things on video. Names and dates feelings, smells and even being touched are just as important to, if not more.

Spirit love to be heared and respected. Not having videos in their ways all the time.

A little old fashioned investigating would be great :P :P

Well I agree with you on the point that whilst we are stuck behind the Video camera we dont work as we should as we are concentrating on looking through the view finder or little screen to connect fully with Spirit...I know you are correct has this was proved to me at the Three Tuns only the other week...I was astounded at what i was picking up and what I felt. Room 2 always seems where i get a connection of some kind, whether it be Seeing, hearing or feeling.... I believe it was because Sophie & I took it in turns using my Video Camera, while i wasnt using it I noticed i was able to connect alot quicker and it was so much clearer...sometimes TOO Clear....

I agree with both sides but as we are all believers here then the most important thing for me is to show people PROOF and not try and sell them what i THINK, so video and stills shots are vital to that end ...J...

Yes I agree. I get best of both worlds. Usually when we have owners/staff who are part of investigation I give them the camera so I can work spiritually and keep track of any dates or names.
